Gun's Roaring Twenties Speakeasy Dinner Theater. 5 days
April 21 - 25, 2009
DAY 1 This
morning well head into Wisconsin and stop for our included morning break. Our
travels will take us across the state, stopping in Madison for lunch (on your own).
Well make a break stop and arrive in the Chicago area late this afternoon, where
well check into our hotel for our the next 4 nights. After time to refresh,
we'll enjoy an included dinner and a wonderful show.

DAY 2 Following our included breakfast, well
head to the John Hancock Center for a wonderful view of the city from the 94th floor. On a
clear day you can see up to 80 miles away and four states. Later we'll head to Navy Pier
for time to browse the shops and have lunch on your own. We'll then enjoy a narrated boat
ride through downtown Chicago on the Chicago River showing off its grand architecture and
famous attractions. Following our boat ride you will have time to browse the famous stores
along Michigan Avenue and visit Water Tower Place. We'll then get a look at Alphonse
Capones Chicago as we enjoy a special "Untouchables" guided tour en-route
to Tommy Guns Garage, a Roaring Twenties Speakeasy, for included dinner and musical
comedy show. The "mugs and da dolls" will sing, dance and entertain you with
some wonderful 1920's era entertainment. We'll then return to the hotel.

DAY 3 Following
our included breakfast, well visit the John G. Shedd Aquarium, you will love their
many marine displays including the "Oceanarium" and the "Wild Reef".
The remainder of the afternoon will be yours to enjoy Chicago on your own. There will be
plenty of time to explore the "Magnificent Mile" and the wonderful stores along
Michigan Avenue or visit Water Tower Place. The coach will also be available for shuttles
around downtown Chicago. Next it's on to the Drury Lane Dinner Theater for included dinner
and their wonderful show, "Curtains."

DAY 4 We'll
enjoy an included breakfast, then visit the Naper Settlement. You will enjoy this
19th century village complete with costumed interpreters who will share the experiences of
daily life back then. We'll stop for lunch on your own, then visit Eli's Cheesecake Bakery
for a guided tour. You will be amazed as you see the cheesecake made and then get to
sample a piece of their world-famous cheesecake. Our next stop will be at the
internationally-known Field Museum to explore their many displays including
"Sue", the world's largest and most famous T. Rex. An included dinner is next
with the Broadway in Chicago musical production (show to be announced) later. We'll then
return to the hotel.

DAY 5 Well
enjoy our included breakfast, then head north back into Wisconsin, stopping for a morning
break on your own. Well stop for a lunch break on your own and an afternoon break on
our way back in the Twin Cities and then Northern Minnesota. The wonderful memories of
Chicago and all the great musical shows will be long remembered.
