DAY 1: Well
depart south for colorful Arizona this morning stopping in southern Minnesota for an
included morning break. Our travels take us across Iowa and through Kansas City to
overnight in Topeka, Kansas. This evening we'll enjoy an included Welcome Dinner at the
hotel.

DAY 2: An
included breakfast starts our day, then we'll continue west across Kansas stopping to
visit the beautiful Cathedral of the Plains, constructed in 1908. This afternoon we'll
take a break stop, then head into Colorado and to Colorado Springs for our overnight.
After we check in, the evening will be free to have dinner on your own.
DAY 3: An
included breakfast starts our day, then were off south into New Mexico. We'll take a
morning break and lunch stop in Santa Fe. You'll have time to explore the historic
downtown area before continuing on through Albuquerque and then west to our overnight in
Grants, NM. The evening will be free to have dinner on your own
DAY 4: As
our luggage is loaded on the coach we'll enjoy an included breakfast. Our travels will
take us west into Arizona. We'll stop for a morning break, then continue on to beautiful
Oak Creek Canyon stopping at the scenic overlook for some great views. Later we'll drive
through the canyon to colorful Sedona. You'll have plenty of time to have lunch on your
own and browse the shops. Later we'll head to Prescott, Arizona's first captial for our
2-night stay.
DAY 5: This
morning following included breakfast at your leisure we'll head downtown for time to
browse the Courthouse Square area and visit famous "Whiskey Row". We'll then
head to Cottonwood for lunch on your own prior to boarding the Verde Canyon Railroad for a
4-hour ride along the Verde River and through the Verde Canyon. You will be amazed at the
colors of fall in Arizona. Upon our return to Cottonwood we'll head directly to the
Blazing "M" Chuckwagon Dinner and musical show. Later we'll return to the hotel.
 
DAY 6: Following
included breakfast we'll head north to Williams to board the Grand Canyon Railroad for the
ride north to the south rim of the Grand Canyon. The scenery along the route is beautiful.
Upon arrival our motorcoach will meet us and transfer us to the Grand Canyon Village for a
lunch break on your own. Following lunch there will be time to take the free shuttle bus
on the 7-mile-long Hermits Rest Route. This route is only accessible by the park shuttle
bus, no private cars or buses are allowed. Later we'll check into our hotel located right
at the rim of the Grand Canyon. This evening we'll enjoy an included dinner and take in
the great view.
 
DAY 7: The
morning will be at your leisure to enjoy the hotel and the views. Following lunch on your
own we'll board the coach and head east along the South Rim of the Grand Canyon to Desert
View and the eastern entrance to the park. As we travel through the park we'll make
several picture stops. Later we'll head back south to Flagstaff and our hotel for the
night. The evening will be free to relax and have dinner on your own.

DAY 8: As
our luggage is loaded on the coach we'll enjoy an included breakfast, then board the coach
for our journey back home. Our destination today will be Albuquerque, New Mexico and prior
to checking into our hotel we'll have time to explore Old Town Albuquerque. Later we'll
check into the hotel with the evening free to relax and have dinner on your own.
 DAY
9: We'll
enjoy an included breakfast and then we're off back across New Mexico and into Oklahoma to
our overnight in Elk City at our full-service hotel. The evening will be free to relax and
have dinner on your own.

DAY 10: Following
included breakfast well head north across Kansas taking appropriate break
stops en-route to the Kansas City area for an overnight at our full-service hotel. After
time to refresh we'll enjoy an included Farewell Dinner.

DAY 11: After an included breakfast we'll head north
across Missouri and Iowa back to Minnesota. Our warm and wonderful memories of our fall
tour to Arizona will be with us forever. We should arrive back home late this afternoon.
