DAY 2
An included breakfast starts the day, then we’ll head east across Ohio stopping for a morning break en-route to the Cleveland area. We'll take a lunch break on your own, then head along the shore of Lake Erie to our overnight in Erie PA. Upon arrival we'll check into our hotel for the night and after time to refresh you'll be free to have dinner on your own.

DAY 3
Following included breakfast we'll head east into New York stopping in Jamestown, NY, the hometown of Lucile Ball. Here we'll visit the Lucy and Desi Museum and then continue west across lower New York to Corning. Upon arrival we'll stop for lunch on your own and then visit the Corning Glass Museum. Later this afternoon we'll arrive in Albany, New York for our overnight. The evening will be free to have dinner on your own.

DAY 4
The morning starts with included breakfast. Our wonderful fall foliage tour of New England will truly begin as we travel north into Vermont, where our first stop will be the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory in Burlington. We’ll continue on into the Green Mountains and Waterbury for our visit to the Cold Hollow Cider Mill, then we’ll visit Woodstock, a typical New England town noted for its Commons, well-preserved old homes and covered bridges.  We'll continue on to Quechee Gorge, “Vermont’s Little Grand Canyon.”  Later we’ll check into our hotel in Quechee. The evening will be free to relax and have dinner on your own.

DAY 5
After our included breakfast, we’ll head north into New Hampshire and the town of Bath, where we’ll visit the oldest continuously operating General Store in America. We’ll travel through Franconia Notch to Lincoln for a lunch break (on your own).  This afternoon we’ll drive the Kancamagus Highway across the White Mountains, once an old Indian trail. We’ll tour the “Castle in the Clouds,” a mansion built at the turn-of-the-century. The Castle’s interior beauty is surpassed only by the magnificent view of the Ossipee Mountains, Lake Winnipesaukee and Squam Lake (site of the movie On Golden Pond). Our destination this afternoon is Old Orchard Beach, Maine for our overnight. We’ll enjoy a memorable Maine chowder and lobster dinner this evening overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

DAY 6
As we enjoy our included breakfast our luggage will be loaded on the coach. We’ll then head south along the Atlantic coastline to Kennebunkport, drive past the home of former President George Bush, and continue on to Gloucester, Massachusetts for time to browse the shops, see the Fisherman's Memorial and have lunch (on your own). Then it’s on to Boston to meet our guide for a tour of Lexington and Concord where the "Shot Heard Round the World" was fired.  After we check into our hotel for the next 2 nights, we'll enjoy a special New England Dinner at the quaint Wayside Inn, which inspired the famous poet Henry W. Longfellow to write the poem by the same name.

DAY 7  After our included breakfast we’ll depart for our full-day guided tour of historic Boston and the “Freedom Trail.”  We’ll see places critical to the history of the American Revolution: the site of the “Boston Massacre,” the harbor where the Boston Tea Party took place, the Old North Church, Paul Revere’s home, and the Old State House. We’ll stop for lunch (on your own) at Quincy’s Market during our tour. In the afternoon, we'll visit Cambridge and Harvard University.  Later we return to the hotel with the evening free to have dinner on your own.

DAY 8  Following our included breakfast we’ll head south with our guide along the coast, stopping in Plymouth to see where the Pilgrims landed. Then it’s on to Cape Cod to visit historic Sandwich, the oldest village on the cape. We'll stop for lunch (on your own), and then continue our tour of Cape Cod, including Hyannis and the Kennedy Memorial. We’ll overnight in the Fall River, MA area just north of Newport, RI  with the evening free to have dinner on your own.

DAY 9  This morning, we'll drive the short distance into Newport, Rhode Island, for our tour of this town world-renowned for its spectacular summer cottages and homes from the Gilded Age. We’ll tour Marble House, then head to Mystic, CT for a lunch break (on your own) on the way to New York City for our overnight.  This evening we’ll enjoy an included farewell dinner.

DAY 10  We’ll enjoy included breakfast before we go to Battery Park to board the ferry to Liberty and Ellis Islands.  Then we'll head to the airport for our flight back to Minneapolis, where you’ll be transferred back to your pickup locations.
